Rath Yatra was taken out in different areas of Delhi. The biggest show takes place at the Jagannath temple of Shri Neelachala Seva Sangh in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas village, where more than 1.5 lakh devotees participate in the procession.
Maha-Prasad is pure vegetarian spiritual food offered to Lord Jagannath. Just by eating this Maha-Prasad, a person gets great spiritual progress.
Singhdwar got its name because there are two huge statues of crouching lions on either side of the entrance.
The blue circle is a disc with eight Navagunjaras engraved on its outer circumference, all facing towards the flagpole above. It is made of alloy of Ashtadhatu (Ashta-dhatu).
