This famous area has very ancient Jain statues, some of which date back to the 12th century. The original idol is of Lord Arnath.
According to popular belief, this area was constructed in the 12th century, but with time the said temple got destroyed. The good thing is that some of these statues are safe.
According to legend, in the year 1959, some Jain traders passed through this area and near Navai they saw some broken Jain idols under a tamarind tree, which the villagers were worshiping. After some time, the place was cleaned and 900 years old statues were found underground. There was also a 4.5 feet Khadgasana statue of Lord Arnath. Only after this this area was developed. Some inscriptions and statues here are believed to be from 12th century and 9th century.
There are also ancient caves in Navagarh. Sadhana was done by Muni Shri Adisagarji Maharaj in the year 1961. Along with the Jain community, devotees from other communities also come to worship in this temple. A museum is also being constructed in the area. There is Moolanayak Temple, Bahubali Jinalaya and Dharamshala in this area.

The temple remains open for darshan from 5 am to 7 pm.
