Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham, Chhatarpur Temple, Delhi

Located in a huge complex, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani. The temple complex with beautiful and natural surroundings is spread over about 70 acres of land and about 20 small and big temples have been built in the complex itself. Basically this temple is dedicated to Durga, but it also has places of worship for deities like Shiva, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Ganesha and Ram etc.

The temple was established by Baba Sant Nagpal in 1974. Located in Chhatarpur near the Gundgaon-Mehrauli road, this temple radiates the aura of white marble and is very attractive. This temple complex with South Indian style architecture also has beautiful gardens.

According to belief, there is a tree here, where the wishes are fulfilled by tying threads and colorful bangles. If you want to visit a peaceful and natural spiritual place in Delhi, then this temple is best for it.

Temple visiting timings: The temple remains open for darshan throughout the day. There are two major sites in the temple. One is dedicated to Mahagauri and it is open every day for devotees. The second site is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani and this temple opens during Ashtami and Navratri of every month.
