Here Hanumanji is worshiped in reverse

The specialty of the Hanumanji temple of Saver, located about 30 kilometers from Ujjain, is the idol here. Here there is an inverted statue of Hanumanji and he is worshiped in the same form. Vermillion chaula is offered here every Tuesday. This temple is said to be of Ramayana period and there are tombs of many saints here. There is a belief about the temple that if a devotee comes to visit here regularly on Tuesday, his wishes are fulfilled. There is a rush of devotees here on Tuesday and Saturday.

Regarding the historicity of this temple, it is said that this is the same place from where Ram devotee Hanuman had entered the underworld through the earth path to kill Ahiravana. It is noteworthy that Ahiravana had kidnapped Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman. Statues of Shri Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Shiva-Parvati are installed in the temple premises. There are also two Parijat trees here. It is said in the Puranas that Hanumanji resides in Parijat.
