In the Jiji Bai temple located in Kolar, Bhopal, Maa Durga is worshiped like a daughter and the special thing is that along with clothes, new sandals of the Maa are also offered here.

Well, this temple is not very old. This temple is situated on a hill and is also known as Siddhadatri Pahadawala Temple. It is said that two-two and a half decades ago, a person named Om Prakash had organized the marriage of Shiva and Parvati here and himself had performed Kanyadaan. During this time, an idol was also established here and named Siddhadatri. They consider her as their daughter and worship her.

Gradually the recognition of this temple increased. According to those who perform Seva Puja here, many times during the day it is felt that the Mother Goddess is not happy, then her dress is changed during the day. Many times this dress has to be changed two-three times a day.There is another belief here which makes this temple unique from others. Here devotees offer new slippers or sandals after their wishes are fulfilled. Many devotees also offer items like cap, glasses, watch etc. When the number of sandals and slippers increases here, they are distributed among the needy. Now even devotees settled abroad send slippers and sandals here.
