It may sound strange, but this unique temple is in Jolar village of Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. Devotees offer handcuffs and shackles in the temple of Diwak Mata. Actually, there is a belief about this temple that by offering handcuffs and shackles here one gets freedom from jail.

This is the reason why a large number of people come here whose family members are in jail. To free him, they handcuff him here. This handcuff is mounted on a trident installed in the temple premises.

This temple is about two hundred years old. People say that many years ago, robbers used to live in this area and they used to worship Mata before committing robbery. Due to this he remained successful in his work. Gradually he started believing that by worshiping Mata here he would not go to jail and he would be successful in robbery. Then it happened that if they were successful in committing robbery or if they broke jail and escaped then they would handcuff them to Mata. After that this tradition started.
