Pisanhari Ki Madiya ji Mandir , Jabalpur

Pisanhari Madhiyaji Temple is situated on a hill in the village of Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh. There is an interesting fact related to the establishment of this temple. According to this, about 600 years ago a poor woman lived around the area. This woman wanted to build a temple but she did not have money. To fulfill her wish, the woman ground wheat and saved the money that came from grinding wheat.The will power and hard work of the woman bore fruit and a grand palace was constructed in the year 1442. Woman is also called Shramdevi. Even today those millstones are still there on the top of the temple. This area is a symbol of a devotee’s faith in his God and willpower. At the same time, this area also inspires that if a person has the desire to do any work, then even a small task can be accomplished in a big way. The Moolnayak statue on the area is of Lord Parshvanath.

Later 13 temples were constructed in the area and thus at present there are a total of 14 temples and Chaubisi has also been constructed. The grand Nandishwar Island has also been created on the area. Along with electrical equipment, there are also captivating fountains and gardens on the hill.

Many other public welfare activities are being carried out by various organizations in the area. In which Gurukul, Vridvashramak, dispensary etc. are prominent. There is provision for accommodation and restaurants in the area.
