Meaning-
Jambavan said- Sushen Vaidya lives in Lanka, who should be sent to bring him? Hanumanji took a small form and immediately brought Sushen along with his house.
doha- raam padaarabind sir naayu aai sushen. kaha naam giri aushadhee jaahu pavanasut len..
Meaning-
Sushen came and bowed his head at the feet of Shri Ram ji. He told the name of the mountain and the medicine, (and said) O son of the wind! Go take medicine.
chaupaee- raam charan sarasij ur raakhee. chala prabhanjanasut bal bhaashee..
uhaan doot ek maramu janaava. raavanu kaalanemi grh aava..
Meaning-
Keeping the lotus feet of Shri Ram ji in his heart, Hanumanji, the son of wind, set out with his strength (that is, saying that I will bring him now). On the other hand, a spy informed Ravana about this secret. Then Ravana came to Kalanemi’s house.
dasamukh kaha maramu tehin suna. puni puni kaalanemi siru dhuna..
dekhat tumhahi nagaru jehin jaara. taasu panth ko rokan paara..
Meaning-
Ravana told him the whole story. Kalnemi heard this and beat his head again and again (expressing regret) and said – Who can stop the path of the one who burnt the city while you were watching?
bhaji raghupati karu hit aapana. chhaandahu naath mrsha jalpana..
neel kanj tanu sundar syaama.
hrdayan raakhu lochanaabhiraama..
Meaning-
Do good to yourself by worshiping Shri Raghunathji! Hey Nath! Leave the false talk. Keep in your heart the beautiful dark body like the blue lotus which gives pleasure to the eyes.
main tain mor moodhata tyaagoo.
maha moh nisi sootat jaagoo..
kaal byaal kar bhachchhak joee.
sapanehun samar ki jeeti soee..
Meaning-
Give up the foolishness of I-Thou (differentiation) and attachment. You are sleeping in the night of great attachment (ignorance), so wake up, the one who is the eater of the serpent of time, can he be won in battle even in dreams?
doha-
suni dasakanth risaan ati tehin man keenh bichaar.
raam doot kar maraun baru yah khal rat mal bhaar..
Meaning-
Ravana became very angry after hearing these words. Then Kalanemi thought in her mind that it would be better to die at the hands of the messenger of Shri Ramji (instead of dying at his hands). This wicked person is involved in a group of sins.
chaupaee-
as kahi chala rachisi Mag Maya.
sar mandir bar baag banaaya..
maarutasut dekha subh aashram.
munihi boojhi jal piyaun jai shram..
Meaning-
He walked saying this in his mind and created an illusion on the way. Built pond, temple and beautiful garden. Seeing the beautiful ashram, Hanumanji thought that he should ask the sage to drink water so that his tiredness goes away.
raachchhas kapat besh tahan soha.
maayaapati dootahi chah moha.
jai pavanasut naayu maatha.
laag so kahai raam gun gaatha..
Meaning-
The demon was present there in the guise of a deceitful sage. That fool wanted to fascinate the messenger of Mayapati with his illusion. Maruti went near him and bowed his head. He started telling the story of the qualities of Shri Ramji.
Hota maha ran Ravana Ramhin.
jeetihahin raam na sansay ya mahi..
ihaan bhen main dekhun bhaee.
gyaan drshti bal mohi adhikaee..
Meaning-
He said- There is a great war going on between Ravana and Ram. There is no doubt that Ramji will win. Hey brother! I am watching everything while staying here. I have great power of wisdom.
maaga jal tehin deenh kamandal.
kah kapi nahin aghaun thoren jal..
sar majjan kari aatur aavahu.
dichchha deun gyaan jehin paavahu..
Meaning-
When Hanumanji asked him for water, he gave him Kamandalu. Hanumanji said- I am not satisfied with just a little water. Then he said- After taking bath in the pond, return immediately so that I can give you initiation, so that you can attain knowledge.
doha-
sar paithat kapi pad gaha makareen tab akulaan.
maaree so dhari diby tanu chalee gagan chadhi jaan..
Meaning-
As soon as he entered the pond, a crocodile caught hold of Hanumanji’s leg. Hanumanji killed him. Then she assumed a divine body, boarded the plane and took off into the sky.
Chaupai-
kapi tav daras bhaiyun nishpapa।
mila to munibar kar saapha..
muni na hoi yah nisichar ghora.
maanahu saty bachan kapi mora..
Meaning-
He said- Hey monkey! I became sinless after seeing you. Oh father! The curse of the great sage was lifted. Hey ape! He is not a sage, he is a nocturnal person. Take my word as truth.
as kahi gaee apchharaa jabhin.
nisichar nikat gayoo kapi tabhin..
kah kapi muni guradachhina lehoo.
paachhen hamahin mantr tumh dehoo..
Meaning-
Saying this, as soon as the Apsara left, Hanumanji went to Nishachar. Hanumanji said- O sage! First take Gurudakshina. Please give me the mantra later.
sir langoor lapeti pachhaara.
nij tanu pragatesi maratee baara..
raam raam kahi chhaadesi praana.
praana.suni man harashi chaleu hanumaana..
Meaning-
Hanumanji wrapped his head in his tail and defeated him. While dying he revealed his (demonic) body. He left his life saying Ram-Ram. Hearing this (pronunciation of Ram-Ram from his mouth), Hanumanji walked with joy in his heart.
dekha sail na aushadh cheenha.
sahasa kapi Upari Giri Linha..
Gahi Giri Nisi nabh dhaavak bhayoo.
avadhapuree oopar kapi gayoo..
Meaning-
They looked at the mountain, but could not identify the medicine. Then Hanumanji suddenly uprooted the mountain. Taking the mountain, Hanumanji ran through the sky in the night and reached Ayodhyapuri.
