Shree Muhari Parshwanath Shwetamber Jain Tirth, located in the quaint village of Tintoi, is a site of immense spiritual and historical importance. The temple’s main deity, Bhagwan Muhari Parshvanath, is a nearly 83 cm tall white-colored idol seated in the Padmasana posture.

One of the 108 parasnath tirthmala and this jain temple is more than 250 years old with mulnayak pratimaji more than 2500 years old. A must visit place for heritage lovers. Jain temple located between shamlaji and modasa in tintoi. This jain tample has their own fame.A large number of Jains come here to visit.

The Trilokinatha idol of Lord Parshvanath is over 2500 years old. The idol, which is the main deity, stands approximately 83 cm tall in the Padmasana posture and is adorned with seven white hoods.

According to a legend, no one could visit this idol without paying a tax of one gold coin (gold seal) to the village headman, hence people call this idol by the name of Muhari Parshvanath.

The statue was hidden for safety during the invasion of Muslim invaders, but the city was destroyed.

One day, a monk dreamt of this idol buried in the ruins of the Shamlaji hills. The next day, he went with a bullock cart to retrieve the idol, but it remained unmoved. That same night, a lay devotee named Joyta Bhai had a similar dream. Hearing of his dream, the Jain Sanghas from four villages of Tintoi, Dadhaliya, Modasa, and Sarodi, went together to bring the idol. The idol was brought in a bullock cart with great joy. Since the bullock cart stopped midway in Tintoi village, a grand temple was built there. This idol of Muhri Parshvanath was formally installed on the fifth day of the bright fortnight of the month of Vaishakh in Vikram Samvat 1828.

This miraculous ancient and sacred temple is replete with three spires, five open squares and two sanctums.

Gautama Ganadhar, the first disciple of Lord Mahavira, venerated Muhari Parshvanath in the “Jagachintamani Chaityavandana Sutra,” which is performed daily during the morning (Rai) pratikraman (pratikraman). This attests to the idol’s antiquity.

Muhari Parshvanath has been mentioned in “Shri Shankheshwar Parshvanath, verse”, in “108 name-bearing Shri Godi Parshvanath Stavan”, “108 name-bearing Shri 108 Parshvanath Stavan” etc. An idol of Muhari Parshvanath is in the Shri Kareda Parshvanath Tirtha and in the Shri Kalikunda Parshvanath Temple in Santacruz, Mumbai.
