28 hymns in Ramcharitmanas

There are a total of 28 hymns in Ramcharitmanas, starting from Balkand Doha 186, the praise of Brahma ji, till Uttarkand Doha 51, the praise of Shri Ram ji, by Narad ji.

Of them, 6 in Balkand, 2 in Ayodhya,
5 in Aranya Kand, 1 in Kishkindha Kand, 1 in Sunder Kand
4 are in Lankakand, 9 in Uttarkand.

Ravana’s name has not appeared in 2 hymns.
