By paying obeisance to any God or Goddess, all the virtues are destroyed.
The proof of this is mentioned in an incident in #BhagwatKatha that during the war with Jarasandha, a demon named Kaal Yavana came to the battlefield to fight on behalf of Jarasandha and Lord Krishna.
Apart from being a terrible demon, Kaal Yavana was also a doer of good deeds. Lord Krishna wanted to destroy all the good deeds of this demon before killing him. Due to the destruction of good deeds, only this evil person can get the fruits of his evil deeds and he can be killed!
That’s why Lord Krishna left the field and started running away. The Lord is running ahead and the demon Kaal Yavana is running behind him! Due to this, the demon Kaal Yavana kept looking at the back of God and all his good deeds kept getting destroyed.
The secret behind this trick of Lord Shri Krishna was that the good deeds acquired by the demon Kaal Yavana should be destroyed so that the wicked gets the fruits of his wickedness and can be killed.
When all the good deeds of Kaal Yavana were destroyed due to running behind Lord Shri Krishna and looking at his back, only then his killing became possible.
Therefore, please do not pay obeisance to the deities or look at them while taking round of any temple. Rather, pray, worship and worship with folded hands in front of them.
🙏To end this ignorance, please help in spreading this story to as many gentlemen as possible! So that everyone’s good deeds can be saved from getting diminished!
