Why do people clap during bhajan and kirtan?
At home, in the temple, in the temple or wherever there is bhajan-kirtan and aarti, everyone claps together. Most of us clap without knowing anything, because we have been seeing our ancestors doing so.
Do you know why applause is played while performing bhajan-kirtan and aarti?
We will tell you, both spiritually and scientifically, why people do this.
Clapping is the world’s best and simplest Sahaja Yoga and if clapped regularly every day, many types of health problems can be solved.
If you clap regularly for even 2 minutes every day, then there will be no need for any hathyoga or asanas.
According to spiritual belief?
Just as a person hides an object next to him and if he raises both his hands, that object will fall down. In the same way, when we raise both our hands and clap, the sins that we have accumulated over our lifetimes, which we have kept buried under us, fall down, that is, they are destroyed.
It is even said that when we do Sankirtan (raising hands and clapping during Kirtan) there is a lot of power. Even the lines on our hands change due to Sankirtan.
Goswami Tulsidas has also mentioned this in a very beautiful way in Ramcharit Manas, the sacred book of Hindus. He has written-
Make Ram Katha beautiful.
Doubtless flightless forest dweller.
▪️ Scientific basis?
According to the theory of acupressure, there are pressure points of the entire body parts and organs in human hands, when pressed, the flow of blood and oxygen starts reaching the concerned organ and gradually the disease starts getting cured.
You all will be very happy to know that the most effective and simple way to press all these pressure points is clapping.
▪️ Types and benefits of clapping?
1⃣ In Tali, all four fingers of the right hand are hit together on the palm of the left hand with strong pressure in such a way that the pressure is complete and the sound is good.
With this type of clap, the pressure points of the lungs, liver, gall bladder, kidneys, small intestine and large intestine and the sinuses of the fingers of the right hand are pressed.
Due to this, blood flow to these organs starts increasing. This type of clapping should be done until the palm turns red.
This type of clapping provides relief in diseases like constipation, acidity, urine, infection, anemia and difficulty in breathing.
2⃣ Thappi Tali:- In clap, the thumbs of both hands, thumb to little finger, little finger to index finger, all the fingers from index finger to the fingers of the other hand parallel to each other, fall on the palm. The sound of this type of clap is very loud and travels far.
This clap puts pressure on all the points of the ears, eyes, shoulders, brain and spine.
According to acupressure practitioners, this clap should also be played until the palm turns red. This clap provides great relief in problems like folder and soldier, depression, insomnia, slip disc, spogolysis and weakness of eyes.
3⃣ Grip Tali:- In this type of clap, only the palm is hit on the palm in such a way that it takes the form of a cross. This clap does a special job of increasing excitement.
With this clap, the pressure points of other organs get activated and this clap helps in activating the entire body. If this clap is played fast and for a long time, then the body starts sweating, due to which the toxic elements of the body come out through sweat and keep the skin healthy. This clapping not only protects from diseases but also cures many diseases.
Just as a key is required to open a lock, in the same way this lock not only works as a key to cure many diseases, but because it can open the lock of many diseases, it is also called ‘Master Key’. Is.
By clapping hands regularly, many diseases can be cured and health problems can be solved.
In the end, we simply do not understand the effects and side effects of acupressure today.
Our ancestors, sages and saints, knew them thousands and lakhs of years ago. Now it was not possible to explain such complex things about the body structure to everyone one by one, so our ancestors made it a tradition. So that the human community continues to benefit from this precious discovery for many centuries to come.
