Some proven mantras of Geeta for relief from worry and grief

Share

Just as the Geeta that came from the mouth of Lord Shri Krishna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra, took Arjun out of the confusion of duty and non-duty and gave him a new vision, in the same way I don’t know how many generations, in their small and big battles of life, in moments of doubt, Through reading Gita, I have gained the strength to stand courageously in the whirlpool of worries. Geeta teaches man to be happy. For those who believe in God, Geeta is like a mother who shows a ray of hope to those who are immersed in despair.

Let us know – some excerpts from Gita, which give strength to a person who is defeated by worries in the struggle for life, to stand with courage –

Some proven mantras of Geeta for relief from anxiety, grief and anxiety

While explaining the solution to the biggest disease of today’s era, worry, Lord Shri Krishna says-

▪️Whatever happened, happened for good, whatever is happening, is happening for good.

Whatever happens, it will also be good. Don’t regret the past. Don’t worry about the future. Live in the present.

▪️This world is a stage. Where everyone has to play (do their duty). Accepting the things of the game as our own leads to unrest. Left attachment and found peace. (2.71)

▪️What happened to you that you cry? what did you bring, which you lost ? What did you create that got destroyed? Neither did you bring anything, whatever you took from God, whatever was given, you gave it here. Come empty handed, you will go empty handed. Still, man maintains the feeling of ‘I’ and ‘mine’ in things and creatures. Man cannot make everyone as per his wish, cannot live together for as long as he wants, neither can change anyone’s nature nor appearance. Then how did all these ‘mine’ and ‘my things’ become his?

▪️What is yours today, belonged to someone else yesterday, will belong to someone else the day after tomorrow. You are happy considering it as yours. This happiness alone is the cause of your sorrows. Therefore, man should believe that this world, home, wealth, family all belong to God and we do God’s work only. By accepting all things as God’s, they will become Prasad. By having such feelings there will be no worry, fear etc.

▪️Offer yourself to God. This is the best support. One who knows this support is always free from fear, worry and sorrow.

Sarvdharmaanparityajya mamekam sharanam vraj.
Aham twa sarvapapaybhyo mokshayishyami ma shuchah. (18.66)

That is, ‘Leave the shelter of all the religions and take refuge in only one, me. I will free you from all sins, don’t worry.’

The meaning of going to the refuge of God is to follow the orders of God with devotion and selflessness, to contemplate on His qualities and form and to remain equanimous in the happiness and sorrow that we receive as per our actions.

▪️To remain happy, content and tolerant in every situation – there is happiness as well as sorrow in this world; Because happiness-sorrow, favor-adverseness are the nature of the world. God says that happiness and sorrow come and go and are impermanent. You tolerate them. One whose mind is equanimous has conquered the entire world while still alive; Because when equality comes, all the faults go away.

▪️Gita says that these two types of situations are coming, do not mix with them, do not be happy or unhappy in them; Rather make good use of them. The things, circumstances etc. that we get are not dependent on another person but are dependent on destiny. According to destiny, whatever thing or situation we are going to get, we will get it even if we do not want it. Adverse circumstances also come automatically, similarly favorable circumstances will also come automatically. Therefore, man should perform his duty only selflessly.

Destiny was created first, body was created later.
Why should Tulsi worry, please pray to Shri Raghubir.

In Gita, God has given so many assurances to man to remain worry-free –

▪️’If you become my devotee and surrender all your deeds to me, then by my grace you will overcome all the obstacles.’ (18.57-58)

▪️’I myself become the one who liberates those devotees who are devoted to me and worship me with devotion by offering all their deeds to me.’

▪️’By worshiping me, people aspire to heaven; I give them. That means everything is accessible from God. (9.20)

Geeta tells the worried person to remain happy by relying on God all the time – ‘You come in refuge only in Me. I will free you from all sins, do not grieve.’

Tamev Sharanam Gachch Sarvabhaven Bharat.
Tatprasadatparam shanti sthanam prapsyasi shashwatam. (18.62)

God alone is the storehouse of peace and no one else, ultimate peace can be attained only by taking refuge in Him, peace cannot be attained through wealth and glory. There is no peace even through knowledge. That can be achieved only by taking refuge in them.
