Morgeshwar Mahadev Shiv Mandir/Murga Mahadev Temple Chaibasa Jharkhand
This holy wind pilgrimage site of Murga Mahadev is situated in the forested foothills of two mountains near Jora, on the border of West Singhbhum of Jharkhand and Keonjhar district of Odisha. Due to the large number of deer, Shiva Linga was named Murga Mahadev.

Due to the huge crowd, the police of Odisha and Jharkhand are always deployed to maintain law and order in this temple complex till the month of Pre-Sawan. Lord Shri Ram, during his exile, stayed in this forest for rest along with his mother Sita and brother Lakshman, enjoying the natural splendor of high mountains, lush green trees and gushing waterfalls. And here the Linga of Lord Bhole Shankar was established and worshiped.
Since there were a lot of deers around the temple. In whose name Lord Shri Ram Chandra, after worshiping this Shiva Linga, named it Baba Mrigeshwar Mahadev Temple. But with time, due to change of name from Mrig, its name became popular as Murga Mahadev Temple.
