Who gave these weapons to Goddess Bhagwati?

Have you ever thought about the weapons that Mother Goddess wears? What is its purpose or where did it come from? After all, where did Mother Bhagwati get these?

Chakra – Chakra, which graced the hands of Mother Bhagwati, was given to the Goddess by Lord Vishnu to protect the devotees. Lord Vishnu himself created this chakra from his chakra.

Trishul – Trishul was gifted to Maa Durga by Lord Shankar himself. Lord Shiva took out a trident from the prong and presented it to Maa Durga. With this trident, the goddess had killed Mahishasura and other demons.

Conch – The conch in the hand of Maa Durga was gifted by Varun Dev. At the mere sound of this conch, the demons present in the earth, sky and underworld used to tremble and run away.

Vajra – Devraj Indra had presented a second vajra to the Mother Goddess by taking out another vajra from his vajra. This thunderbolt was extremely powerful and when the goddess fired it on the battlefield, the demons ran away from the battlefield due to its strike.

Punishment – Yamraj had gifted a punishment to Maa Bhagwati by taking her out of his Kaaldanda. In the battlefield, the goddess had tied the demons with a noose and dragged them on the earth.

Bow and Arrow – Pawan Dev himself had gifted a quiver full of bow and arrows to Maa Bhavani. During the war with the demons, the goddess used to shoot with this bow and arrows.

Sword – The decorated sword and shield in the hands of Mother Goddess were presented by Yamraj. According to mythology, Mother Bhagwati had destroyed the demons with this sword and shield.

Bell – Devraj Indra had removed the bell from the neck of the elephant Airavat and given it to the goddess and due to the terrible sound of this bell, he had become unconscious and then he was killed.

Axe – Lord Vishwakarma had given an ax to Mother Durga on his behalf. The goddess who destroyed Chand-Mund took the form of Kali and fought with the demons with a sword and an ax in her hands.
