Shiva Mantra

चिदमासन विभूम् निर्मलम् निर्विकल्पम्,
निरिहम निराकारमोंगरा गम्यम,
गुणतिथा मव्यक्तमेकम थोरेयम,
परमं ब्रह्म यं वेद तस्मै नमोस्तु। 1

chidamasan vibhoom nirmalam nirvikalpam,
niriham niraakaaramongara gamyam,
gunatitha mavyaktamekam thoreyam,
paraman brahm yam ved tasmai namostu. 1

Salutations to that God whom the Vedas call Brahma,
Who is the master of the conscious principle of life, who is clear, who is eternal,
Who has no desire, who has no form, who is known in Om,
That which is beyond the three qualities, that which is not apparent, that which is one, that is infinite
