Kedarnath is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. Thousands of devotees visit the temple. The work of making a replica of this temple was done by Hemadri Raja. These include Kedareshwar temple near Azad Maidan and Kamleshwar temple in Lohara. Therefore, on Mahashivratri, the devotees of Yavatmal will get the joy of visiting Kedarnath in their village itself. Its history is thousands of years old. A special technique was used in the construction of the temple. The pillars in the interior are carved. There is a large lake in the area. It also has a water tank. Temples of Sheetla Mata, Nag Mandir, Kaal Bhairav, Maruti, Shani Mandir, Ambika Mata and Kashinath Maharaj are there in the temple complex. Dongre Maharaj preached a story to two grass hungry people in Yavatmal. At this place, food is provided to the beggars every day by taking grains from them on interest. Special pujas and abhishekams are performed to the deity. A total of 150 meals are provided each day. Shravan, Shivaratri, Kashikar Maharaj Punya Tithi, Gurupournima, Harihar Veda, Sankranti Deepmala these activities are done. There are 21 trustees in the temple. Seven generations of priests have been working at this place.
