This temple is situated in Sevantari village of Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, its distance from Rajsamand city is 46 KM, this village is full of natural beauty amidst the Aravalli hills, this temple is situated in the middle of the village, darshan in the temple can be done from 5 am to 10 pm.

According to the local people, the temple was established by the Pandavas, after which, from time to time, the temple was renovated by the Maharajas of Mewar and Marwar. People who know about the temple also tell that Maharana Sanga’s life was saved by taking shelter in this temple and while saving him, Veer Vida Rathore of Jalore was martyred here, whose memorial is built at some distance from this temple.
