This temple is the first temple of Bhavnagar. This temple is about 285 years old. In order to establish Jain settlement in Bhavnagar, the noble Shri Bhavnagar called a Jain Shravak from Palitana and promised to give him every possible help, but Jain Shravaks agreed to make it permanent as there is no temple in the state but the noble Namdar Shri said that you should present your problem without any hesitation. And the Jain Shravak talked about a Jain temple and the Maharaja donated land for a Jain temple in front of the Darbar Fort of Bhavnagar. And Shri Adinath Dada is seated here.
