Pavagadh is a legendary pilgrimage site. The mountain is home to the ruins of an ancient fort and several palaces. The foothills are known as Champaner village. Five million sages, including Luv and Kush, attained salvation from here.

There’s a convenient ropeway (Udan Khatola) to reach the mountain from Manchi, which is 3 km away. Buses are available from the temple to reach Manchi.
