Anjan Dham, the only temple in the country, where Hanuman is in the lap of Mother Anjani

Anjan Dham, 21 kilometers away from Gumla district of Jharkhand, is a good place for entertainment. Dense forests and mountains enhance the beauty of this area. It is world famous because Lord Hanuman was born here. Here Lord Hanuman was born from the womb of Mother Anjani. Because of this its fame is far and wide. There are many ancient heritage sites to see here. There is a temple of Lord Hanuman on the top of the mountain. This is the first temple in the entire country, where Lord Hanuman is sitting in the lap of Mother Anjani. The beautiful valleys here thrill the heart. The people of this region still consider themselves descendants of Hanuman. This has also been the abode of sages. By climbing the main temple situated on the mountain, the view of the surrounding villages looks quite beautiful.

There are three ways to reach the temple situated on the mountain. There is a path from the middle, which is made of concrete stairs. There is one path each on the left and right side to go up to the temple. In which roof framing (shed) has been constructed in the staircase path in the middle and the footpath path on the left. Construction of platform and bamboo roof over the temple and other finishing work including painting is going on in the temple. The bamboo roof adds to the beauty when climbing the stairs of the temple.

The idols of Lord Shiva along with Anjani Mata, Lord Hanuman, Radha Krishna, Ram Lakshman and Sita are installed in the temple located in Anjan village. There are 360 ​​Shivalingas and equal number of ponds here. Eight Shivalingas are installed in two rows in the Chakradhari temple located on Anjan hill. There is a snake cave below the temple. Earlier there was a mound of soil in the cave, the cave was completely closed and the snake was seen there, but two years ago the path to the cave has been opened. There is a path inside the cave that is more than 15 hundred feet long.
