Baba Daninath, Kathikund is one of the popular public places located in Dumka, pakur main road, kathikund ,Dumka. This place has a historical back ground. Long time ago District Magistrate of Dumka District was crossing the place when his vehicle started making some trouble. Its about 5pm or 6pm in the evening. Mechanics tried their best but can t make it right. He spend the night at daak-banglo near to the temple. At night during sleep he got a dream about the place where the temple is presently situated. In the morning his motor car became perfectly ok, even without any mechanic. After that he made the temple of Baba Daninath.
