The royal king of Patiala Maharaja Narinder Singh went to Haridwar, Rishikesh and Badrinath in 1852 (Samant 1909). It is believed that on return to Patiala he came with the maps of buildings and on the basis of these maps he got constructed temples on Rajpura Road. The King got constructed these temples for the Convenience of his people who want to visit these places but couldn’t afford. The temple is located on Rajpura Shambhu road, diverting from Bhadurgarh. Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. The temple and town form one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The temple is also one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath—holy shrines for Vaishnavites. The temple is open in morning hours and evening hours and is closed in between 11am to 4pm.The temple has a great view located on outskirts of village Bhadurgarh.
