Celebrating birthday according to Sanatan Dharma.
In our scriptures, it has been said to believe in the birthday date, we must remember the constellation and date of our birthday. According to the Vaishnava section of the Skandapurana, on the day of the birthday in that nakshatra, the person who worships the gods and goddesses with bhava, never has bad dreams and does not die an untimely death.
If we celebrate birthdays according to our Sanatan Dharma, our life span increases. According to the Skandpuran:
On the day of his birthday, on the Nakshatra, a person should bathe in the water of the holy river and take a lota of water from it and anoint Mahadev, by doing this we never have an untimely death.
One should celebrate birthdays on the banks of rivers, at pilgrimage places, at the feet of great men, by doing this you will be healthy, no kind of negative energy will even touch you. Apart from this, your nine planets will also be happy with you and will be favorable to you.
On the day of the birthday, get up early in the morning, take a bath, etc. and take the blessings of the elders of the house, get a tikka of turmeric from them, worship God, light a lamp of ghee, and light a lamp of ghee as many years as you are old, perform aarti, worship Gau Mata, perform havan, feed the poor, Brahmins, do charity.
We should never celebrate birthdays in hotels, by lighting candles, cutting cakes, because nothing like this is written in our religious texts. Our religion tells us to join and join, not to cut and break.
We are Indians, we are Sanatani, we should follow what is told in our Puranas. Why should we celebrate our birthdays in the manner of the British?
By celebrating your birthday in this way, any kind of negative energy will not be able to touch you. Apart from this, your nine planets will also be happy with you and will be favorable to you. You will get health.
