Champeshwar/Champakeshwor Mahadev Temple Chitlang,Makwanpur,Nepal

The temple is two-storeyed. The temple has four gates, built in the traditional Nepali style and made of Bahterin wood from Nepal. The Purana Shiv Mandir made of natural rock is situated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. A new artistic Chaturmukhi Shivlinga is also installed beside it. Nandi is installed to the east of the temple. Worship is done here every day. Special worship is done in the temple on festivals like Bala Chaturdashi, Shivratri etc. The temple is situated on the Chandrakanti and Ratnakanti rivers. The roof of the temple is covered with gold. The temple is situated in Chitlang Bisangel village.
