Almost 200 years old shiva temple that is said to host the unmatteshwar avatar of shiva. It is said that the bhairav of maa tara resides here in dabuk shiva temple.
The temple of Dabukeshwar at Dabuk is a holy village under Mayureshwar-I block of Birbhun district. This Dabukeswar temple is the highest temple built keeping in mind its huge architecture and space in Birbhum district. It was constructed in 1287 Bengali era. The architecture is depicted in resemblance of a temple built in Kashmir not known to many people that this temple was build in the honour of Sadhak Bamakhayapa’s “Guruji” who once saved the life of ‘Queen of Kashmir’. He is famously known as “Shree Shree Kailashpati Gurudev”..
Not many people know that it is the highest temple in Birbhum district. There is a distinct peace in this temple, all of you who visit Tarapith and Birchandrapur must visit this place once. There will be no brokers or pandas, only you & the priests. And the nature & behaviour of the priest is very well than any other.
It is a beautiful temple of Lord Shiva situated at Dabuk , Ek chakra , Birbhum ( W.B) . This temple is a wonderful piece of terakota art . The surroundings of the temple is very calm and quiet . Many visitors are coming here throughout the year to visit.
