Dashashwamegh Ghaat is most popular, highly significant and historical Ghaat of Bharuch situated on the bank of river Narmada near Dandia Bazar. Various myth associated with this holy Ghat, this holy spot is believed to be place where King Mahabali performed ten Ashwamedha Yagya. It is the place where Lord Vishnu came in the disguise of Vamana and measured the whole universe with his three steps. Another myth is King Daksha had performed Yagna of Dashashwamedh here so this Ghat was named as Dashashwamedh Ghat.
Ambaji Mata Temple, Umiya Mata Temple, Narmada Mata Temple, Kotirudreshwar Mahadev, Vamana Temple etc old temples were built on this Ghat. Visiting this Ghat during morning hours and on Purnima is best time to visit Dashashwamedh Ghat.
