Devkali Mandir Auraiya uttar pradesh is one of the most famous Hindu temples in the city. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in Auraiya, a city in Uttar Pradesh.

Baba Mahakaleshwar (Devkali Temple) situated on the banks of Yamuna resounds with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev. There was once a dominance of bandits here, hence no common devotee could reach the temple. But on Monday, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, people reached the temple with bell leaves and holy water amid the sound of bells and gongs. People consecrated Lord Bholenath with the chants of Har Har Ganga and Har Har Mahadev. It is believed that the Shivalinga here grows every year equal to a grain of barley.
Auraiya district of UP is also known as Bihadanchal. Bandits were once dominant in the ravines. There was a time when the doors of this temple yearned for devotees, because only bandits used to camp here. Instead of cheering in this temple, only the echoes of bullets were heard. But with the changing times and the end of the bandits, now this temple remains visible.
This temple was built by King Jaichand of Kannauj in the name of his sister Devkala. This is the only Shiva temple in the world which is not famous by his name but by the name of a woman. The length of the Shivalinga of this temple will be three and a half feet and no one has been able to measure its width till date. Shivalinga grows every year by the size of a grain of rice. After the eradication of the dacoits, now only the chants of Baba Devkali and the sound of conch shell are heard in the rugged valley.

It is a very famous Ancient temple of Lord Shiv. It is situated in Khanpur Dist Auraiya Uttar Pradesh. It is well known for its Hinduism culture and is one of the most important temples of Shiv ji.
In the days of Savan Season, A huge Festival Fair usually organises here under the tight armed security and NCC CADETS. All the devotees worship first then visit the Fair afterwards.
Devkali Temple as the name mention Dev Kali was sculptured by the Devtas during the very old days as olds tell, people also have the same faith.
