Does the soul really have to pass through 84 lakh births?
According to Padma Purana, the meaning of 84 Lakh Yonis (Secret of 84 Lakh Yonis) is the different types of creatures found in the universe. These organisms are divided into two parts, yogin and organized. Apart from this, animals have also been classified separately into 3 parts as terrestrial, aquatic and aquatic.
It is told in the Purana that there are 9 lakh aquatic creatures, 20 lakh trees and plants, 11 lakh insects, 10 lakh birds, 30 lakh animals and 4 lakh species of gods, demons and humans. All these together make a total of 84 lakh vaginas.
Finally we meet the human vagina
That is, after birth, any living being has to complete the cycle by taking birth in a particular species one by one. After completion of the prescribed cycle of that birth, it is sent to another vagina. There he has to complete the cycle by taking birth again and again as per the prescribed period.
In the end, depending on the deeds, she is born as a god, demon or human. After coming into this vagina, the soul continues to take birth in the same vagina 4 lakh times.
It is described in Padma Purana
It is said in Padma Purana that when a soul completes the prescribed 84 Lakh Yonis (Secret of 84 Lakh Yonis) and its deeds are also good, then it attains Pitra or Dev Yoni. With this, she becomes free from many births and goes to Vaikuntha Dham. Whereas the soul performing vile deeds is sent down again to take birth in 84 lakh species. In the Vedas and Puranas, it has been called Durgati, that is, the cycle of a soul getting trapped in the cycle of birth and death again, which is not considered an ideal situation.
