Gadgadeshwar Temple, the ancient temple of Amravati city, The temple commonly known as Gadgadeshwar is Mahadev temple and the temple is ancient. The Patalvipura area of the city is a little outside of the city. At this temple, Jnansaathi passes by the Hindu cremation ground and goes in front of the Kalanka Devi temple. Sudha Gadgadeshwar Temple can be reached by a road leading from Parkotatalipur Gate of the city. There is a small Shiva temple in front and from there the main temple is entered. Entrance Festival Ujvya Baju has a Hanuman temple and Dawede has a Ram Sita temple. When went to the assembly hall, I had to go down the stairs as the main temple is in the Kholghat area. In the center is a magnificent Shivlinga which is covered with brass. In front of the linga on the wall of the hall is a grand pitale Nandi and the Nandi is a very beautiful. The temple is thronged by devotees throughout the year, while during the Mahashivratri festival, there is a throng of devotees. There is open space around the temple and Bazhu has a grand Patangan and Pakka way. There is a magnificent banyan tree. Behind the temple there is a small garden planted with trees, where devotees can sit and eat.
