A popular cave temple of Lord Shiva, Gananath is situated near Satrali village (Takula) at an altitude of 2116 meters above sea level. This temple is at a distance of about 47 km from Almora and is visited by crowds of people during the fair organized on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
