Gapernath Mahadev Temple, Kota: This temple of Kota is considered to be more than 500 years old. Regarding the construction of the temple, it is said that this temple was built by the wife of Raja Bhoj in the 16th century. The Archaeological Department has taken it under its conservation area since 1961.
Every year a grand fair is organized in the temple on Mahashivratri in the holy month of Lord Shiva, in the month of Shravan, during which a large crowd of devotees of Lord Bholenath can be seen here.
The main feature of the temple is the natural waterfalls falling on the statue of Lord Shiva which attracts the tourists.
