Considering Sun as a fruit by Hanuman: –
One day Hanuman ji’s mother left him in the ashram to bring fruits. When baby Hanuman felt hungry, he considered the rising sun to be a fruit and started flying in the sky to catch it. The wind also moved very fast to help them. On the other hand, Lord Surya considered him an innocent child and did not let him burn with his power.
At the time when Hanuman rushed to catch the Sun, at the same time Rahu wanted to eclipse the Sun.When Hanumanji touched Rahu in the upper part of the Sun, he got scared and ran away from there. He went to Indra and complained that Devraj! You gave me the sun and the moon as a means to satisfy my hunger. Today on the day of Amavasya, when I went to capture the Sun, I saw that another Rahu was going to capture the Sun.
Hearing Rahu’s words, Indra got scared and took Rahu with him and started towards the Sun.Seeing Rahu, Hanuman ji left the sun and pounced on Rahu. When Rahu called Indra for protection, he attacked Hanuman ji with a thunderbolt due to which he fell on a mountain and his left chin was broken. Seeing this condition of Hanuman, Vayudev got angry.
He stopped his movement at that very moment, due to this no creature could breathe and everyone started suffering from pain, then all the Suras, Asuras, Yakshas, Kinnars etc. went to Lord Brahma, Brahma took them all to Vayudev.
He was sitting sadly with the foolish Hanuman in his lap, when Lord BrahmaWhen he brought them back to life, Vayudev by spreading his speed took away the pain of all the living beings, then Brahmaji said that no weapon could pierce his body, Indra said that his body would be tougher than a thunderbolt. Suryadev said that I give him one hundred percent of my brilliance and also blessed him to be knowledgeable in the scriptures.
Varun said, this child will always be safe with my noose and water.Yamdev blessed him to remain disease free and healthy, Yaksharaj Kuber, Vishwakarma etc. also gave infallible boons.
How Bajrangbali became Panchmukhi Hanuman :-
When there was a fierce war going on between the army of Ram and Ravana and Ravana was near his defeat, then to overcome this problem he remembered his elusive brother Ahiravan who was a great devotee of Mother Bhavani and a great master of Tantra Mantra. Was knowledgeable. With the help of his illusion, he put Lord Ram’s entire army into sleep and kidnapped Ram and Lakshman and took them to the underworld to sacrifice them.
After a few hours, when the influence of Maya subsided, Vibhishana recognized that this work was of Ahiravan and he asked Hanumanji to go to the underworld to help Shri Ram and Lakshman.
At the gate of the underworld he found his son Makardhwaj and after defeating him in the battle, met the hostages Shri Ram and Lakshman. There he found five lamps at five places in five directions which Ahiravan had lit for Mother Bhavani.
‘If these five lamps are extinguished together, Ahiravana will be killed, that is why Hanuman ji assumed the five-faced form, Varaha face in the north, Narasimha face in the south, Garuda face in the west, Hayagriva face towards the sky and Hanuman in the east. Taking this form, he extinguished the five lamps and By killing Ahiravana, Ram freed Lakshman from him.
Naming of Hanuman :-
Hanumanji’s chin (Hanu in Sanskrit) was broken by Indra’s thunderbolt, hence the name Hanuman.
