Historical Gurdwara Sahib Polis Malaysia

This place is reserved for the Sikhs to conduct religious ceremonies and social events. Historical Gurdwara Sahib Polis, which was established in 1886. This Gurdwara is a heritage as it has existed for 136 years. Should already been gazetted as heritage, since it has past 100 years.

Gurudwara Sahib Police was built in 1898 by Federated Malay States Police ( F.M.S Police ). It was second Gurudwara made by F.M.S Police in KUALA LUMPUR. 1st Gurudwara made by F.M.S Police was built in 1890.

Very small Gurdwara! Very clean, langar hall was very clean.

This Sikh shrine/temple was in built by the British colonial authorities in 1898 and believed to be the oldest in Kuala Lumpur. At the time it was built, many of the police officers of the Federated Malay States were Sikh and this is to cater specifically for the Sikh police officers.
