Hiyangthang Heibok Mahadev Temple,West Sikkim

The temple is 1000 years old. The temple is situated in Yang Dhang village of Imphal west district. Currently the temple has been constructed. Women come in large numbers to the temple. The temple is open for two days in a month on Amavasya and Purnamasi. Special puja is performed in the temple in April and on 7th October. A lion comes every day in the special puja but no one gets harmed. Women who are childless get a son by visiting the Maa and praying here.
