How did the visible awakened god of Kalyug, Kal Bhairav, come into being?
Tantracharyas believe that the ultimate man in the Vedas, which was depicted in Rudra, was described in the texts of Tantra Shastra by the name of ‘Bhairava’, due to which the sun and fire are hot. Indra-Vayu and death gods are ready in their respective works, they are the ultimate power ‘Bhairav’. Bhairav has his own special significance in the incarnations of Lord Shankar.
In the tantric method, the word Bhairav reflects his vast form. Amritanand Nath in Yoginiradaydeepika Tika of Vamkeshwar Tantra says-
The filling of the world, Ramsh to Vaman, ie Voman i.e. Voman i.e. the creation of the world is the only Shiva Bhairava. In the conscience of Tantralok, the Bhairava form of Lord Shankar has been described as the operator of the universe.
In the name of Sri Mantriidhi Nama Tantra-mantra, his trinity of the three letters of the word Bhairava is a clear introduction, because these three powers are their included-
The ‘Bha’ Aksharwali which is Bhairav idol is Shyamala, sits on Bhadrasana and the Uday Kalik is like the sun. He is holding a face -like Deity in his four hands, wearing a bow, arrow groom and Abhay.
The ‘R’ Aksharwali Bhairav idol is Shyam Varna. Their clothes are red. The Panchmukhi Devi, who is on the lion, is holding Khadg, Khet (pestle), Ankush, Gada, loop, shul, groom and Abhay in her eight hands.
‘And’ Aksharwali Bhairavi Shakti’s ornaments and Narwarfakat are white. That goddess is the only shelter of all the worlds. The developed lotus flower is his posture. She holds two lotus, groom and abhaya respectively in all four hands.
There is a story of his appearance in the 31st chapter of Kashi-Khand of Skandpuran. When Bhairav Brahma escaped killing the fifth head of Brahmaji with pride in proud Brahmaji, the beloved Puri of Lord Shiva came into the ‘Kashi’ and got rid of the blame.
Eight worshipers are specified in Durgopakhyana under the nature block of Brahmavivat Purana- Mahabhairava, Sanhar Bhairav, Asitang Bhairav, Ruru Bhairav, Kaal Bhairav, Krodh Bhairav, Tamrchud Bhairav, Chandrachud Bhairav.
But in the 41st chapter of the Ganpati-section of this Purana, the names of Ashtabhairava are found in the names of Ashtabhairava and the names of Kapalbhairava and Rudra Bhairav are found respectively.
The eight Bhairav Asatang, Ruru, Chand, Krodh, Manat, Kapali, fierce destruction mentioned in Tantrasara are named.
Bhairav is the awake deity of Kali Yuga. In the Shiva Purana, Bhairav is described as the complete form of Mahadev Shankar. There is also no rigorous rules in their worship. The creature is certainly saved when he goes to the shelter of Bhairavnath, who gives such supreme kind and quick fruits.
