Jai Shrirambhakt Mahavir Hanuman

Share

Pawanputra Hanuman was a child-celibate. But Makardhwaj is said to be his son. According to Valmiki Ramayana, while burning Lanka, Hanumanji was sweating a lot due to the heat of the fire. Therefore, after the burning of Lanka, when he jumped into the sea to extinguish the fire in his tail, a large drop of sweat from his body fell into the sea.At that time a big fish thought it was food and swallowed that drop. That drop went into his stomach and turned into a body.

One day the servants of Ahiravan, the demon king of the underworld, caught that fish. When they were ripping open his stomach, a man with the shape of a monkey came out of it. They took him to Ahiravana. Ahiravana appointed him the protector of Patal Puri. This monkey Hanuman’s son became famous by the name of ‘Makardhwaj’.When the Ram-Ravana war was going on, as per Ravana’s orders, Ahiravana kidnapped Ram-Lakshman and took them to Patal Puri. The monkey army became frightened and heartbroken due to his kidnapping. But Vibhishana revealed this secret to Hanuman. Then Hanumanji reached Patal Puri to help Ram-Lakshman.
They were surprised when they saw a monkey at the gate of Hades. He asked Makardhwaj about his introduction. Introducing himself, Makardhwaj said – ‘I am Makardhwaj, son of Hanuman and the gatekeeper of Patalpuri.’Hearing Makardhwaj’s words, Hanuman became angry and said – ‘What are you saying? Wicked! I am a child celibate. Then how can you be my son?’

As soon as he got the introduction of Hanuman, Makardhwaj fell at his feet and after paying obeisance to him, told the story of his origin. Hanumanji also accepted that he was his son.

But saying that he has just come to take his Shri Ram and Lakshman, as soon as he moved towards the door, Makardhwaj stopped his path and said – ‘Father! It is true that I am your son but right now I am in the service of my master. That’s why you can’t go inside.’

Hanuman tried to convince Makardhwaj in many ways, but he did not move from the door. Then a fierce war started between the two. Within no time, Hanumanji tied her in his tail and entered the underworld.

Hanuman reached straight to the Devi temple where Ahiravana was about to sacrifice Ram-Lakshman. Seeing Hanumanji, Chamunda Devi left the underworld. Then Hanumanji assumed the form of a goddess and established himself there.

After some time, Ahiravana came there and after offering prayers, as soon as he raised the sword to sacrifice Ram and Lakshman, Hanumanji appeared with a terrible roar and killed Ahiravana with the same sword.

He freed Ram and Lakshman from bondage. Then Shri Ram asked- ‘Hanuman! Who is this person tied to your tail? Looks exactly like you. Open it.’ Hanuman freed him from bondage by introducing Makardhwaj. Makardhwaj bowed his head before Shri Ram.

Then Shri Ram crowned Makardhwaj and declared him the king of the underworld and said that in future he should serve others like his father.

Hearing this, Makardhwaj saluted all three. All three blessed him and left from there. In this way, Makardhwaj became known as the son of Hanuman..!!πŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸΌ Jai Shri Ram
