Jatashankar Temple Thigale galli,Bir,Beed,Maharashtra

The temple is of Ram period. The temple was renovated 500 years ago. The battle between Ravana and Jatayu took place here, hence this place is known as Jatashankar. There is a statue of Nandi on the dome. Another statue of Nandi is installed in the temple premises. There is a Shivalinga of brittle colored stone in the temple.
