Jora Shiv Mandir (The dual lord Shiva’s Temple) Khulna,Bangladesh

One of the old temple of the country is Jora Shiv Mandir in Khulna. This temple is famous in the country and outside the country. But this ancient temple is hidden with a pair of banyan trees. This pair of Shiva temples are about 321 years old.

This pair of Shiv Mandirs is one of the 74 archaeological sites in the industrial Khulna district. This temple is located in the heart of the city.

It is located in 5 No Ghat area of ​​the main city of Khulna. From 5 No Ghat is easily seen. The historic Jora Shiv Mandir is located on the western side of the road.  There is an old temple situated along the river with two identical temples. Behind the temple is a banana tree wrapped around another tree, and people pray to God Mansa there. Situated by the river of Rupsha. There are also other demi gods beside of shiv in this temple.
