Kalyaneshwar Mahadev Temple was established by King Janak in Mithila. This temple is also a part of the Mithila Madhya Parikrama Circuit. History of Kalyaneshwar Mahadev
This temple was established by King Janak in Tretayuga. This temple was built by the architect of the gods Shri Vishwakarma himself.
Raja Janak was the king of Mithala, hence he is also called Mithilesh and the capital of Raja Janak’s kingdom was Janakpur.
