Kantareshwar Mahadev Temple Surat,Gujarat

The Kantareshwar Mahadev Temple is located in the city of Surat, Gujarat, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that the temple is built by Maa Kunti during the Mahabharat period. Beautiful temple of lord shiva. it holds idols of kantareshwar mahadev, omkareshwar, Kashi Vishwanath and kanakeshwar mahadev. One of the oldest and ancient temple in surat city which were crafted from SURYADev’s Brightness as a blessings of KAPIL MUNI’S Tenacity.
Temple used to have a kund which is now not used. in the campus, there is temple of santoshi Maa.
