Kapileshwar Temple is a temple of Shiva which is built at the confluence of Shakuni and Phadka rivers. Shakuni River, Chaikhan and Phadka River originate from Motiyapathar. Looking at the structure of the temple situated between the rivers, it seems as if it is situated between two snake-shaped rivers. The main temple of this temple has become a little crooked. Some people believe that the temple is leaning due to land subsidence, but local people say that there was a fight between two snakes in this temple due to which this temple has tilted.
Inside the main temple is the Linga of Shiva which is self-made. Goswami families of Nath tradition have the right to worship in this temple. The Goswami family has been performing puja here for years.
