Kapileshwar Temple is located in Rahika area of ​​Madhubani district of Bihar, India. Sage Kapil had placed a Shiva Linga in this temple. This place is situated in Rahika assembly constituency. This is one of the famous Shiva temples of Madhubani district. With the help of Raj Darbhanga, a big pond was dug outside the temple, from there people used to take water for Jalabhishek. It is surrounded by villages like Kharaua, Rampur and Jagat. In the month of Shravan, people from different parts of Bihar gather for Jalabhishek of Shivalinga. The temple has a large boundary wall, and the Lord Shiva temple is situated in its centre, while there are other temples within its precincts, such as Parvati temple, Hanuman temple, etc. There are many sculptures here which are related to history.
