Khareshwar Mahadev Temple is 15 km from Dhrangdha. The temple was renovated by Shri Nyalgiri ji in 1917. Due to salty water here, it was named Khareshwar Lord Mahadev. A fair is held here on the day of Janmashtami. near Khareeshwar Temple Narli.

Legend has it that earlier there used to be a forest here. Cowherds used to graze their cows. A cowherd’s cow used to go to the bushes every day to give milk. After investigation, the cowherd found out that there is a Shivalinga at the place where the cow gives milk. And people then got the temple built here.
