Kote Sri Anjaneya Swami Gudi Mysore

This temple has been built close to the northern gate of the palace. the statue of Lord Anjaneya was obtained in Belagole. There is a `Garuda gamba ` of 40` height in front of the temple. It is illuminated on the top. The idol is very beautiful. Most of the people of the city visit this temple from dawn to dusk to offer prayer and sevas. Kote Anjaneya Swamy has its share of Muslim devotees too as the divine being is believed to cure diseases by tying the thaitha. On Amavasya a special pooja is performed and the thaithas /talisman to be given to the devotees are charged by chanting powerful mantras.
