The Hare Krishna movement is not a new religion however. The teachings of the Hare Krishna movement can be traced back to the more than 5000 year-old Vedic Scriptures, among which the most prominent is Bhagavad-gita. The objective of the Hare Krishna movement is to propagate knowledge of the Supreme Person, Krishna, as He is described in the Vedic Scriptures, as well as the relationship of all living beings to Him. It is our ambition to present deep spiritual wisdom to society at large. We do this via literature, lectures, public events, radio, and other activities. We also host student and school visits.
In Denmark Hare Krishna has a temple and a vegetarian restaurant in Copenhagen, and local radio stations in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
