Share
Shree kundeshwar dham temple is a perfect place for ‘shiv’ bhakt . This is a famous hindu temple in this area.

Kundeshwar Mahadev changing color three times a day

The one-faced Shivalinga of Kundeshwar Mahadev of Majhilgaon has matted hair on its forehead and fully open round eyes. The special feature of this Shivling is that it changes color in three ways during the day.

Located on the Allahabad road, just 9 kilometers from Khaga on the national highway, this Kundeshwar Mahadev Shiva temple is working as a Kalpavriksha for the devotees. It is believed that Ravana, the king of Lanka, was returning after taking the Shivalinga from Lord Ashutosh, during which he had placed the Shivalinga on the ground. Then what, this Shivlinga became the uncut stone of history and came to be known as the Shiva temple established by Ravana. Om is inscribed in the central part of Vishmukh. The inscription written in Brahmo script in the temple indicates that it was established during the Naga dynasty period. It is also believed that a snake always comes to visit Shivalinga, at that time any monk who tried to see the snake could not survive.

Although there is a gathering of devotees here throughout the year, but during the month of Shivratri and Sawan, devotees come from far and wide to worship Lord Shiva.
