Kusumeshwar Mahadev (38/84) Ankpat, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh
About 30 feet north of Shiveshwar Linga, this divine Kusumeshwar Linga is situated in a dilapidated structure of heavy stone pillars.
A copper snake is shadowing the Shivalinga, about 5 inches high, in the middle of the brass Jaladhari. A trident is buried nearby. There is a wonderful statue on the ancient wall in front. In which Goddess Parvati is seated in the lap of Shiva, who is the tantric form of Shiva-Shakti. On the right side of the idol, the idols of Karthik Swami and Ganesha are visible below and on the left side, the idols of Veerbhadra and Kubera are visible. There is an iron mesh on the left side of the entry door.
Once in Vaivaswat Kalpa, Mahadev was enjoying with Parvati in Mahakalvan, then a loud sound came from his rosary. When asked by Parvati, Shiva said that here the Ganpatigans are playing, among them one of my favorite Ganaveeraks is being hurt and worshiped by the flowers.
Parvati wished for a similar son from Mahadev. Then Shiva gave him Gananandayak Veerak as his son. Parvati was overjoyed to find him and blessed him. You also prayed to Mahadev for his fame by the name Kusumeshwar. Mahadev said Veerak is our favorite character, people will see him like us, listen to the singing of Gandharvas and Kinnari. Apsarais are also dancing around Veerak. In this way, Mahadev bestowed Kusumeshvaratva on Veerak and also bestowed many rare gods and boons.
Mahadev said that those who worship Kusumeshwar with flowers will attain my world. Those who worship this Linga with devotion will attain supreme status and will not be reborn.
