Langde ki Chowki Hanuman Temple is 500 years old in Agra, here the Lord stood guard as a devotee.

Hanuman temples of Agra are grandly decorated on Hanuman Janmotsav. Kripala Utsav is celebrated at the ancient Hanuman temple located at Langde Ki Chowki. Hanumat Janmotsav is being organized here for 10 days.

Langde Ki Chowki Hanuman Temple in Agra is 500 years old. This temple is from the Mughal period, which was once away from the city. Now it has become a dense settlement. Here the divine idol of Hanuman ji is seated on a marble throne. By whose mere darshan all troubles go away. There is a long list of people who offer prayers at the feet of Hanuman Baba or decorate the bungalow with flowers after their wishes are fulfilled. Flowers remain booked in the temple for two years. Apart from the city, this includes devotees from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc.

Hanuman ji had become a lame watchman
According to temple Mahant Govind Upadhyay, in ancient times, there used to be a government post where the temple is located. A lame watchman was posted here. He was a devotee of Lord Shri Ram. One day he was not on his duty and someone complained about him.

When the Kotwal went to inquire, the watchman was present in Shri Ram Katha. When he came back to the place where the lame was kept, he found the watchman there also. When asked by the watchman, he told that Hanuman ji was on duty here. After this a temple was constructed here.Which was named after the lame watchman.

Devotee Lokendra Jadaun said that the wishes of all the devotees are fulfilled in Lagde Ki Chowki Hanuman Temple. I come to the temple every Tuesday and Saturday. There is a different feeling after coming to the temple. Mahendra Sharma said that although there are many temples of Hanumanji in the city, but I have been coming to this temple for many years. Whenever there is any problem, I ask Hanumanji to solve it and the solution is found.
