When the blind parents felt thirsty, he made them sit at a place in the forest and went in search of water. He was taking water in the lake when Maharaja Dasharatha’s piercing arrow hit him. Regarding the pond located in the Mahahar Dham complex, it is believed that this is the same pond where Shravan Kumar had gone to collect water.
